Okay, so I have been crap. Oh well... Anyway, photos added to the Month 2 gallery and I have added a slideshow for the photos taken just after Ike.

Next batch of photos will be... MONTH 3!!! Yikes!

Finally I have gotten around to uploading more. One reason I have not until now is due to the fact that I have wanted to move over to the Google Picasa slideshow functionality, which is pretty slick. I like!

I have left the old galleries active until I manage to upload all of them into the Picasa system, but until then, here are some of the galleries of little Nora...

So I am not particularly happy with the default slideshow software that comes with this blog so I am looking at alternatives... Picasa is looking like a really solid option... Here are some photos from when she was born...

I will be looking to move the rest of the photos over to these slideshows and creating a page to include a link to these in it... So more to come!

After over two days of downtime, we are back up and running. The hosting company upgraded the Coldfusion server to version 8. That caused one issue. After a day of faffing and playing, they fixed that, only to have another database issue occur. After upgrading the driver to the latest MySQL driver it seems that the DB issue has also been resolved!

YAY... back to something closer to normalacy!

I know there have been issues with posting comments to the blog. Actually the comments have been going into the DB (hence why there were multiple entries), but the email field had not been set and the system was wibbling.

All fixed now... although probably not the 25 HTML parsing issues... not seeing any errors in Safari... what browser is causing the issues?

...are online... but no tags/descriptions on any of them. I will try to get to that tomorrow, but have conference calls starting at 7am local time! Ach! Not looking forward to that.

So... slightly different look. Not much but a little.

Even this little has been a pain to get working tonight, so not sure how much more change will happen in short term.

Random photo is gone... mainly because I plan on using the built in capability of the Blog software to have photo galleries, or what they call slideshows. I will see how well this works out for us.

Oh and Alex probably may not be able to comment here as my site is causing all kinds of unwanted redirects when he tries to post a comment... or view comments, or view the site... It has happened once or twice for me too, but is not something I can recreate, making troubleshooting it very tough!

Go ahead... go check them out and abuse me (verbally) as I know you all love to do!

Which is good and bad, because it means that now I will also be accountable for stagnation on the site.
