House Hunting Heats Up!

Several new options have opened themselves up to me. I am now certainly not going to be moving into the Piedmont development, as it will not be ready until summer next year at the earliest.

One option is to move across to another innerloop condos development. Other options include the Urban townhomes, HHN homes, Perry Homes, Juliet Homes, or a development by a company called Blue Forest… the last ones are really great homes, but a bit pricy! Finally, I have been looking at older developments, but built within the last 5-10 years. More details to follow, but check out the house hunting section for more details.

Charlie’s Sister Makes an Appearance…

Charlie, the recent addition to the clan, was rescued from certain death within hours of his birth. His sister was taken by their mother, and he was left (maybe she had a good idea what a brat he would become!). On Friday a cat screaming could be heard for most of the day… finally my mum found who it was… Charlie’s sister, now named Camila (get it… Charles and Camila???).

A lot more shy than her brother, but starting to come out of her shell, and certainly able to beat Charlie up when the mood comes across her… here are some photos of Charlie and some of Camila. Click Here for the photos.

Hostway were kind enough to upgrade the email system on my domain late last week, which inluded removing the catch-all functionality that I really like and has been extremely helpful for when people send me emails. Result is… I have only set-up the following aliases…

So please use one of those aliases or drop me an email and let me know of any other aliases I should set-up… I have 50 that I can use for free!!!

Irrelevant to most…

Most of y’all won’t care about this post, but I do! For those that know me, know that I have been a big fan of fantasy novels since Sanj introduced me to the dark ways with Pawn of Prophecy, and I was forever corrupted, and heck, nearly failed the second term of my second year cause I HAD to read all the books in the Belgariad series by David Eddings.

With that in mind, I have been reading the George R.R. Martin Series A Song of Ice and Fire series since the first book came out back in the mid 90’s. The drought between books has been long, but with the quality of the previous books, I was prepared to wait… and the wait is nearly over… A Feast for Crows is complete. The author had to split it in two, and half will be part of A Dance with Dragons and half the characters will be missing from book 4, but hell… WHO CARES?!?!?!
